Amnesia
When I woke up, it felt like I had been stabbed with a red hot sword, fresh from the furnace. My skin was red and raw, and I had no idea who I was. As I lifted my head to scan the room, a piece of paper lying beside me caught my attention. 'Dear Logan, you have been a subject of Test 197. Your mind has been wiped. Make your way down the stairs into the Briefing Room for your teaching.' It said. So I got off the bed, and painfully hobbled my way down the stairs. I had Amnesia.
What a brilliant start to this short story. I love the imagery; 'I had been stabbed by a red hot sword, fresh from the furnace.' I think it is time for you to write out a synopsis for a longer story and create a script for your first movie. Go for it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mr. R! I really like that line too. I have some ideas for a short film I want to write soon, but it will definitely take a while to make.
