100 Word Challenge, #32!

I looked at the scaly feet of the giant animal, towering over my miniscule body. I watched as the giant mouth came down towards the stones in front of me. I froze. Waiting for this, creature, to end my life. It made a ear splitting sound, and I thought it was a cry. A cry for blood. But, instead of ending my life, smaller ones of herself scrambled up onto the log and started to eat the stones with her.
'Cheep, cheep,' they squeaked. One of them offered me a yellow-ish rock. I took it. And ate.

Relief: Natalia Kills And Willy Moon Fired!

If you watch The X Factor, you'll know all about the terrible things judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon said to contestant Joe Irvine. It was some horrible stuff. Natalia accused him of 'Copying her husband's hair and suit.' And also Willy said 'It's creepy, I feel like you're going to stick someone's skin to their face and kill everyone in the audience.' My opinion on this is so long I wont write it all down. It probably would turn into a rant. So, my opinion is that it was unnecessary for them to say those things. They were pretty much being hypocrites. If you look at their music videos and style of music it is very similar to other music artists. Also, is Willy Moon the first person on Earth to wear a suit? Cos if he is, um it would be a LIE. His act was amazing, and who said that it was a fashion show? So yeah. Write your opinion in the comments!   Asher

Barely Cooking Contest!

On Friday the 30th of January, Josh and Blake came over to my house. We were having trouble figuring out what we were going to do but, luckily, I had and idea.

"We should do the 'Barely Cooking Contest'. It's a cooking contest where, say, I buy food for Josh, Josh buys food for Blake and Blake buys food for me," I said to them, "We would also have a certain amount of money."
"How much?" asked Blake.
"Oh, $20 bucks?" I replied.
"K. So are we gonna do this for lunch?" Josh asked.
"That's what I was planning." I told him.
"OK then, lets go!!" Blake said enthusiastically.
So we all got into the Ipsum and drove to the Rolleston Countdown. When we arrived I checked my wallet. Ah! I only had enough for $15 each! Nevertheless, we got our baskets and went shopping.

I bought Josh a bag of lollies, some croissants, a can of chicken, some brie cheese, a loaf of ciabatta bread and a cup of 2 minute noodles. Josh got Blake a full bag of 'pick your own' lollies, 2 minute noodles, chicken soup, bacon, buffet rolls, some tomatoes and also some russian fudge. Blake got me some bacon, some mince, a packet pasta mix, mini marshmallows, buffet rolls and crunchie chocolate bar squares.

When we got back, we had 25 minutes to make everything and then 5 minutes to present and finish off everything. Because it was a competition, we were judged. Josh won and Blake and I were tied. It was super fun and we recommend you doing it as well.

  2. What a fun competition Asher! I think a real challenge would be decreasing your $$ and at the same time making a substantial yummy meal. If you did it again what would you change?

  3. Hi Asher
I know that they shouldn't have said those horrible things it was disgusting! My opinion is that I'm glad they were sacked- it was unnecessary! They both were mean and have copied others as well, this shows their real personality! Like how your opinion was in the recount and how you have added lots of detailed info.
Do you watch the x factor? And do you think this was scripted or their actual opinion? Would like to know!

    1. Thanks Nikita! I sometimes watch the X Factor, but not all the time. I don't think that was scripted, it was off the cuff and horrible!
